ProVision™ ATD (NEW!) Image-Free Technology

Deployed at Schiphol International Airport in Amsterdam and designed to enhance security at any checkpoint, the ProVision ATD quickly screens subjects using safe active millimeter wave (MMW) radio frequency technology to automatically detect concealed objects made of any type of material – both metallic and non-metallic.

ProVision ATD with Automatic Threat Detection offers customers an upgradeable technology platform that can be enhanced through software updates as new threats evolve or are introduced. ProVision ATD provides an image-free solution and eliminates privacy concerns.

Advanced software processes scanned data and determines if the passenger can be cleared through the checkpoint. If a potential threat or issue is identified by the software, an outline highlighting the area(s) of concern is displayed on the operator’s control panel over a generic mannequin figure. This information can then be used by security personnel to direct a focused discussion or search. 

This capability is also available through a field upgrade to existing ProVision systems.

• Automatic Threat Detection feature addresses privacy concerns by eliminating the generation and review of images. Scan data is processed by software without human intervention to determine if any threats are present. Potential threat areas are then presented to the operator using a generic mannequin that resembles a human outline.
